Hand drawn black ink style images. People, things etc.

IMPORTANT I've taken the time to write enough information for you to have a good idea of what you're bidding on. In return I'd like you to read it all and only bid if you have done so. OVERVIEW Multiple black ink hand drawn cartoon-like images according to specification. This work will be allocated in stages as each is completed. The images will be used to illustrate a language textbook/workbook. Bids should be between £100 AND £250 per stage. Definitely more than 10 phases if I continue to be satisfied with the results :-) DETAILS The core of the project is a cast of appealing characters that can be shown in various situations such as in a cafe or bar, waiting for a bus, playing tennis etc. The drawings should be simple and human-like (i.e. not Simpsons!), with enough detail that parts of the face or pieces of clothing can be clearly seen if that is specified. Backgrounds are not normally required. The characters consist of mother and father, two grandparents, their teenage boy and girl, and a young child, plus one each of male and female adult friends, plus male and female teenage friends. That makes 11 characters in due course. Usually only one or two of them appear in each image, sometimes no people, just pictures of animals, fruit, a house, etc. OWNERSHIP The images must be created specifically for this project and created by the seller unless agreed otherwise. Full ownership of all images will be transferred to the buyer up payment of each stage of the project. SELECTION OF FREELANCER PARTNER I invite freelancers to submit a sample image(s) and a bid relevant to a few specified scenarios. The freelancer can envisage the style I'm looking for based on some samples I've found on the web and attached here. BIDDING You are bidding on stage 1 described below. It's pretty simple work for an artist good with a pen or pencil. Do not waste your and my time bidding unless you have submitted a sample to me or can indicate that you really have taken a minute to read what I've written. Your other suggestions are welcome. I AM DISAPPOINTED THAT THE FREELANCER ASSISTANT HAS TWICE MODIFIED MY BUDGET WITHOUT MY APPROVAL. MY BUDGET, PER STAGE, IS £100-£250 REGARDLESS OF WHAT FREELANCER HAS INPUTED. THERE DOESN'T SEEM TO BE A WAY FOR ME TO CHANGE. I WILL DELETE ANY BIDS OUTSIDE OF £100-£250, that's about $130 - $300 USD STAGE 1 Image 1: Two men (age 30-40) shaking hands. (i.e. the husband and another man.) Image 2: Two women, sitting at a cafe chatting (i.e. the wife and her friend). Image 3: Teenage boy and girl waiting at a bus stop.
