Optimise WordPress - Core Web Vitals

WordPress Page Speed Optimisation — Mobile Focus (Google Core Web Vitals) We're looking for an experienced WordPress performance specialist to audit and optimise the loading speed of our website, with a primary focus on mobile performance and alignment with Google's Core Web Vitals and PageSpeed Insights best practices. About the site Platform: WordPress Caching plugin already installed and active Hosting and current theme/plugin stack details will be shared with the selected freelancer Scope of work Full performance audit of the site, including PageSpeed Insights, Lighthouse, and GTmetrix reports, with a clear written summary of issues and recommended fixes prioritised by impact. Implement optimisations to improve mobile performance and Core Web Vitals scores (LCP, INP, CLS), including but not limited to: Image optimisation (compression, next-gen formats such as WebP/AVIF, lazy loading, correct sizing) CSS and JavaScript minification, deferral, and removal of unused/render-blocking code Font loading optimisation Caching plugin configuration review and tuning Database optimisation and cleanup Third-party script and plugin audit, with recommendations to remove or replace any that hurt performance Server response time and TTFB improvements where achievable at the WordPress/plugin layer Before-and-after benchmark reports (mobile and desktop) from PageSpeed Insights, Lighthouse, and GTmetrix. Brief handover document outlining what was changed, why, and any ongoing recommendations. Targets Mobile PageSpeed Insights score of 80+ (please indicate in your proposal what you realistically expect to achieve for our site) All Core Web Vitals in the "Good" range on mobile No loss of existing functionality, design, or tracking ach 2–3 examples of WordPress sites you've optimised, with before/after scores Whether you've reviewed our site (URL provided on request or in messages) and any initial observations Fixed-price quote and estimated timeline Confirmation that you'll work on a staging environment or take a full backup before making changes Other notes We can provide admin access, hosting access, and any plugin licences required Please flag upfront if you recommend changing hosting, theme, or any major plugins, as these decisions sit with us Ongoing monthly maintenance is a possibility for the right freelancer after this project
