It's very straight forward. I'll make this very simple. I need for an employee to click an icon, see something like [login to view URL] uses for their lead queries, using the same options to query, but I need my data in place of theirs. It's know it's pretty simple if you are familiar with google maps api and html or java. I started to use Mappoint, which I do like for most tasks, until I realized how much the singular thread shows it's colors. I don't require updates to maps like google. I would rather a local map that is easily updated. Mappoint is really what all of us are used to, but it just lacks that speed. I have millions of contacts and the acccd file is about 1 GB. It takes, at most 20 second if I'm calling for a detailed report. If there is something local and faster I should be using, please let me know and i'll see I will get the data converted and cleaned up for mySQL DB. What I wan has already been done by a million different companies, but there is one that I want an exact replica of... [login to view URL] uses Google maps API and pretty basic mapping tools, but have made it simple enough for most people to use. I'm not worried about having a DB synced up instantly, just need it as a back up. I know Access is slowing me down every time I call a query or report, but is not an issue. Please suggest something faster and can hold more data before crashing. I would rather stay local and use the MYsql to run nightly backups, which I have not done done yet. click an icon and see what you see on infogroup's lead map. Obviously I want my DB to be the one it calls for, from there want to push a button and have my reports in access ready to print or save. Nothing tricky, just time consuming for me to learn and test.. It shouldn't take long, since infogroup has what I need. Then once you have everything running smoothly, I need a FD for the accdb file. VERY BASIC and allows them run all reports and queries. Nothing that would confuse a new data entry hire.
Here is the link for INfousa and it has is exactly what I need.

I'll send you my acccd file template.
Then I need a FD for the accdb file.
Please feel free to ask any questions.
