E-commerce Image Processing Specialist

Key Responsibilities Image Processing & Cleanup - Clean input product images by removing backgrounds to produce clear, catalog-ready images. - Remove any persons or human elements present in the image. - Ensure that only one product/item is present per image. - Standardize images to meet platform catalog requirements. Product Metadata Capture - Extract and record the following mandatory metadata from downstream APIs: - Product Type - Product Category - Product Name - Product Image Reference Quality Review & Verification - Review all cleaned images for accuracy and visual quality. - Verify that images meet cleanup requirements before final submission. - Ensure that each image corresponds correctly with its product metadata. Requirements - Education: Recent college graduate / fresher. -Strong attention to detail and diligence for image quality and data accuracy. - Ability to work ~9 hours per day during the contract period. - Proficiency in using computers and web-based tools, including image editing software, spreadsheets, and data systems to process images, extract product metadata, and perform detailed verification. - Ability to review and validate large batches of product images efficiently. Preferred Skills - Experience with image editing tools (e.g., Photoshop, or AI background removal tools). - Familiarity with product catalog management or e-commerce listings. - Understanding of data classification and metadata tagging. Deliverables - Cleaned product images with background removed and no people present. - Single product per image verified. - Complete product metadata captured from APIs. - Verified and reviewed images ready for downstream use. Compensation & Duration Duration: 2 weeks (contract role, extension possible). Working hours: Approximately 9 hours per day. Compensation: ₹6,000 for the initial 2-week period. Compensation may be revised if the role is extended or scope increases.
