I am looking for an experienced U.S. trademark attorney to help with an automotive aftermarket trademark matter. For confidentiality reasons, I will not publicly disclose the trademark name, previous application number, company name, or other identifying details. I will provide the full information privately only to shortlisted candidates. Background: A previous U.S. trademark application was filed for this brand. The USPTO later issued a Non-Final Office Action. The examiner’s search did not identify conflicting marks that would bar registration. The issues raised were relatively limited and related to matters such as a disclaimer and amendment of the mark description. Unfortunately, the previous application later became abandoned because the required response was not submitted within the deadline. I now need an experienced attorney to review the full situation and advise on the best strategy moving forward. I need help with: * Reviewing the previous USPTO application and complete prosecution history * Determining whether revival is possible or advisable * Advising whether filing a new application would be the better option * Conducting a fresh trademark clearance search * Advising whether we should file the word mark, logo/design mark, or both * Selecting the correct trademark classes and goods descriptions * Preparing and filing the application * Handling USPTO correspondence and Office Actions * Advising on the strongest long-term protection strategy for the brand The brand is actively used in the automotive aftermarket parts industry, and we plan to expand the product range significantly. Please apply only if you have strong experience with USPTO trademark applications and Office Actions. In your proposal, please tell me: 1. Are you a U.S.-licensed trademark attorney? 2. How many USPTO trademark matters have you handled? 3. Do you have experience with abandoned applications and revival/refiling strategy? 4. Do you personally handle the USPTO filing and correspondence? 5. What is your professional fee? 6. What government fees should I expect? 7. Does your fee include basic Office Action responses? 8. How soon can you review the case and begin? I am ready to proceed immediately with the right attorney. Full trademark details and documents will be shared privately after I review your qualifications.

I am a U.S. licensed patent and trademark attorney based in San Diego, California, with over 25 years of experience helping clients protect their brands and inventions. I personally work with you and prepare your application. I have filed many hundreds of these applications just in the past few years. A refiling of your application will be necessary if your application went abandoned over two months ago. The filing fee is normally $350 per class of goods or services and this fee is paid directly to the USPTO upon filing and is not included in my bid. In some limited cases, the filing fee per class is $550. After filing, as a U.S. licensed attorney, I communicate with the USPTO Examiner on your behalf should any issues come up with your application. Any additional work after the filing of the application (including reviewing and responding to office actions and communications) is billed separately based on time. Office actions can range in costs and fees. They start at $100 and can be $800 to $1500 in complex or lengthy responses to rejections. You can also apply to the Amazon Brand Registry about one or two days after your filing date. Once Amazon processes your request, they will send me a verification code which I will forward to you so you can enroll in the registry program. Please let me know if you would like to discuss your project. Michael

Process: Step 1—sign NDA and review your full USPTO application + complete prosecution history (including the Non-Final Office Action and abandonment timeline). Step 2—analyze issues raised (disclaimer/description amendments) and determine whether revival is viable vs refiling, then map the strongest long-term protection path for an actively used automotive aftermarket brand. Step 3—run a fresh clearance search to confirm no new conflicting marks, including strategy for filing the word mark, logo/design mark, or both, plus the correct classes/goods descriptions for your expanding product line. Step 4—prepare and file with USPTO, then handle all correspondence and Office Actions. To confirm fit: I am a U.S.-licensed trademark attorney; I’ve handled USPTO trademark matters end-to-end, including abandoned cases with revival/refiling strategy. I personally manage USPTO filings and communications.

You need a U.S. trademark attorney to turn a previously filed, abandoned automotive-aftermarket application into the best path forward—revival if viable, otherwise a fresh filing with a new clearance search and correct mark/type/class strategy. I’ll start by reviewing the entire USPTO record, including the Non-Final Office Action and the exact reason the response deadline was missed, so you’re making decisions with full procedural context. My plan: (1) privatized case review after you share documents to shortlist; (2) USPTO prosecution-history analysis plus advice on revival vs. refiling; (3) fresh clearance search to confirm no conflicting marks; (4) recommendation for word mark, logo/design, or both; (5) selection of appropriate classes/goods for expanded parts range; (6) drafting and filing, then managing Office Actions and USPTO correspondence through clearance toward registration. Please confirm: (1) U.S.

Protecting your actively used automotive aftermarket brand in the U.S. is the priority: stop repeat delays, restore momentum with USPTO strategy, and build the broadest enforceable coverage for planned product expansion. I’ll privately review the full prior application and prosecution history (including the Non-Final Office Action context), then recommend whether to pursue revival (where available) or refile with improved specimens/mark description and a streamlined disclaimer strategy. I’ll also run a fresh clearance search to confirm no new conflicts. 1) I’m U.S.-licensed to practice before the USPTO as a trademark attorney. 2) I’ve handled 40+ trademark matters including Office Actions and prosecution. 3) Yes—abandoned cases and revival/refiling strategy are part of my workflow. 4) I personally handle USPTO filings and all correspondence. 5) Professional fee: $2,500–$4,000 depending on scope (review-only vs. full filing/Office Action response).

A USPTO Non-Final Office Action already raised limited issues, but the application went abandoned due to a missed deadline—this is exactly where brands lose momentum and incur extra cost. I can turn that “deadline failure” into a clean next-step plan: review the full prosecution history, assess whether revival is viable, or recommend a refiling strategy that best positions your automotive aftermarket brand for registration. I’ll conduct a fresh clearance search, advise whether to file word mark, logo/design mark, or both, and lock the right classes and goods descriptions for expansion of your product range. I’ll also manage USPTO correspondence and Office Action responses personally, mapping each action to your long-term protection goals, including minimizing rejections tied to disclaimer/description issues. Before you share confidential details privately, confirm: (1) U.S.
