We're in need of someone to help manage and grow our social media presence across several of our small companies, plus our incoming clients. Neighborhood Marketing has thrived through word of mouth advertising and has built several niche brands that need to be grown in their industry.
Our Social Media and Content Manager will be responsible for generating leads and ROI through the use of social media platforms by creating fresh content, customizing white label content and engaging with potential clients on social media. The right Social Media and Content Manager will also be able to sell websites and other marketing services, earning a commission/bonus for each converted sale.

1. Manage social media marketing campaigns and day-to-day activities including:
a. Develop relevant content topics to reach the company’s target customers.
b. Create, curate, and manage all published content (images, video and written).
c. Monitor, listen and respond to users in a “Social” way while cultivating leads and sales.
d. Conduct online advocacy and open a stream for cross-promotions.
e. Develop and expand community and/or influencer outreach efforts.
f. Oversee design (ie: Facebook Timeline cover, profile pic, thumbnails, ads, landing pages, Twitter profile, Blog, etc.).
g. Design, create and manage promotions and Social ad campaigns.
h. Manage efforts in building online reviews and reputation. Monitor online reviews and respond to each review.
i. Analyze key metrics and tweak strategy as needed.
j. Compile reports for management showing results (ROI).
k. Become an advocate for the company in social media spaces, engaging in dialogues and answering questions where appropriate.
l. Develop organizational elements in order to implement a proactive process for capturing happy, loyal customer online reviews.
m. Monitor trends in social media tools, applications, channels, design and strategy.
n. Implement ongoing education to remain highly effective.
o. Identify threats and opportunities in user-generated content surrounding the company. Report notable threats to appropriate management.
p. Analyze campaigns and translate anecdotal or qualitative data into recommendations and plans for revising social media, content marketing, SEO and social advertising campaigns.
q. Monitor effective benchmarks (Best Practices) for measuring the impact of social media campaigns. Analyze and report on effectiveness of campaigns in an effort to maximize results.
2. Qualifications and Experience
a. Exhibits the ability to jump from the creative side of marketing to analytical side, able to demonstrate why their ideas are analytically sound.
b. Displays in-depth knowledge and understanding of social media platforms, their respective participants (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, Pinterest etc.) and how each platform can be deployed in different scenarios.
c. Maintains excellent writing and language skills.
d. Enjoys a working knowledge of the blogging ecosystem relevant to the company’s field.
e. Displays ability to effectively communicate information and ideas in written and video format.
f. Exceeds at building and maintaining sales relationships
g. Practices superior time management.
h. Is a team player with the confidence to take the lead and guide other employees when necessary.
i. Maintains a working knowledge of principles of SEO including keyword research and Google Analytics. Highly knowledgeable in the principles of “Search and Social.”
j. Possesses functional knowledge and/or personal experience with WordPress.
