I’m organising a one-day fun run for about 100 participants and need a simple mobile app to capture the day. The flow is straightforward: • When a runner opens the app, the first of eight Google-Maps screenshots I provide appears. Swiping (or tapping “Next”) moves them through the remaining seven sections as they reach each checkpoint. • At every checkpoint they must snap a quick photo with the in-app camera—no gallery uploads—then confirm the picture before progressing. Each photo automatically tags itself to the corresponding checkpoint. • After finishing all eight points, users either: – browse every participant’s shots inside a shared gallery, or – if the shared gallery proves expensive to host, let me alone see the full collection through a simple admin view or downloadable archive; I’ll repost highlights to our social channels myself. Please build for both iOS and Android with a lightweight backend (Firebase, Supabase, or similar) to handle user auth, image storage, and basic moderation. QR code or email login is fine; I’m open to your suggestion here as long as setup is minimal for the runners. Deliverables 1. Cross-platform mobile app (APK + iOS TestFlight build) ready for event day 2. Cloud backend configured and handed over with clear storage limits 3. Admin access to download or review all images 4. Basic usage guide so volunteers can help runners on the day If you can keep the interface clean, responsive, and event-ready within the next few weeks, I’d love to hear how you’d tackle it.

Eight checkpoint screens, camera-only photo capture, automatic tagging per stop, and a simple way for you to review everything after the run — that’s very doable as a lean event app, but the key is keeping it reliable enough for a one-day live event where runners need almost zero guidance. I’d build it as a lightweight cross-platform app with a minimal backend, simple login, enforced in-app camera flow, and an admin panel/archive setup that avoids unnecessary moving parts. I’ve worked on custom app and backend flows where the main challenge is not flashy UI but making capture, upload, and handover dependable on the day. For this kind of brief, I’d keep the interface extremely clean, preload the checkpoint images, and make sure each photo is tied to the correct step so volunteers are not fixing mix-ups later. The shared gallery can be included only if it stays practical within the scope; otherwise an organiser-only review/download view is the safer route. - Do you want runners to create their own identity, or should each QR code log them in directly with no signup? - Should the app block progress until the photo upload completes, or just until the photo is confirmed? - Do you already have an Apple Developer account for the TestFlight build?

With extensive experience in developing mobile applications and using Firebase for lightweight backend solutions, I am confident in creating a user-friendly one-day fun run mobile app for your event. The app will feature a streamlined interface for easy navigation and include Google Maps screenshots at each checkpoint. Participants can confirm their progress by taking photos at checkpoints through the in-app camera feature. The backend solution will be secure, with Firebase handling user authentication, image storage, and basic moderation. You can choose between QR code or email login for minimal setup. The deliverables will include a cross-platform app for iOS and Android, a cloud backend for image storage, and admin access for image review and download. I aim to deliver a clean, responsive interface on time and am open to discussing any specific design preferences or branding elements you would like to include. Let's also consider any potential scalability requirements for future events. I am excited to bring your vision to life with my technical skills and strategic approach.

Hi, You’re not just asking for an app, you need a smooth checkpoint flow that keeps runners moving without confusion. That’s exactly the kind of event-ready build I can help with. I’ve built mobile and web apps with camera capture, auth, image storage, and admin review flows using Flutter/React Native-style setups with Firebase or Supabase. For your fun run, I’d structure the app so each checkpoint is locked to its own photo step, with in-app camera only, simple confirmation, and automatic tagging per checkpoint. I can also keep the runner setup minimal with QR or email login, then give you either a shared gallery or a private admin download/review area depending on storage cost. I’ve shared an initial estimate based on your description, and once we go over a few technical or functional details, I’ll confirm the exact cost and delivery schedule. A few things I’d want to lock down early: do you want the checkpoint screens preloaded offline in case signal is weak, should the photos sync immediately or queue until upload is available, and do you prefer a lightweight admin panel or downloadable ZIP archive for final access? If needed, I can map the full build plan right away and keep it simple for volunteers on event day. Do you want the checkpoint sequence and photo uploads to work offline if the venue signal gets weak? Thanks, Asad

Hello, I read your requirements carefully and understand that you need a lightweight cross-platform app for an 8-checkpoint charity run, where participants follow the provided Google Maps screens and capture one in-app camera photo at each checkpoint. I have 11+ years of experience in mobile and backend development and can build this using Flutter with Firebase/Supabase for authentication, image storage, checkpoint-based photo tagging, and admin management. The app will support camera-only capture, photo confirmation, shared gallery or private admin collection, moderation, and downloadable images. I will provide the Android APK and iOS TestFlight build, configure the backend, set appropriate storage limits, provide admin access, and include a simple volunteer usage guide. I WILL PROVIDE 2 YEAR FREE ONGOING SUPPORT AND COMPLETE SOURCE CODE. I can keep the interface simple, responsive, and reliable for the event day. Thanks, Christina

This is a well-contained event app, and I would build it as a focused React Native app for iOS and Android so the same tested flow serves all 100 runners. The eight Google-Maps screenshots can be bundled into the app, with swipe and “Next” navigation, checkpoint progress, and a camera-only capture screen at each stage. A runner must confirm the photo before continuing, and every image will be tagged automatically with its checkpoint and runner record. I’ll use Firebase Authentication, Firestore, and Storage with security rules, image-size limits, and basic moderation controls. Login can be reduced to a QR-based event entry or lightweight email sign-in. After checkpoint eight, the app can show a shared gallery if storage usage remains suitable; otherwise, a small admin web view will let you review, moderate, and download the complete archive. I’ll include the APK, iOS TestFlight build, Firebase handover, storage-limit guidance, and a simple volunteer usage guide. I have 10+ years in web and mobile development, including SyncWave, a cross-platform casting app, plus SwiftKhata with approved iOS and Mac builds. I can start immediately and target an event-ready build within seven days, subject to receiving the screenshots and Apple testing access. Would you prefer runners to enter through one shared event QR code rather than individual email login? Muhammad Saad

Howdy, Keeping a live fun run event completely smooth and tamper proof means a lightweight app that makes checking in effortless for runners while giving you total control over the data. Building a lightweight cross-platform app in React Native or Flutter backed by Supabase is the right approach for a 100-participant fun run. To keep things frictionless on event day, magic link email authentication or anonymous sign in tied to pre-registered runner IDs eliminates password hassle. The 8-step checkpoint flow will lock progression until an in-app camera snapshot is confirmed, blocking gallery uploads and auto-tagging each image to its specific location. For hosting efficiency, implementing a private admin view to download the full image archive for social media reposting keeps storage costs minimal compared to a public shared gallery. I can show you similar mobile application examples in chat where it seems appropriate. The real challenge here is not the eight screens themselves, it’s making sure 100 runners can move through checkpoints quickly without gallery uploads, wrong image assignments, or a clunky login slowing the event down. I’d approach this as a focused MVP: cross-platform app, checkpoint-by-checkpoint camera capture, backend storage, and a very simple organiser review area so the day runs smoothly. I’ve handled app-style workflows where users must complete actions in sequence and where admin visibility matters more than extra features. For your event, I’d recommend the lightest authentication option possible, likely QR-based access or magic-link email, then a backend such as Firebase or Supabase for storage and image moderation. If useful, I can also structure it so the shared gallery is optional and can be switched off in favor of admin-only access to keep hosting lighter. - Would you prefer each runner to see only their own uploads during the event, then unlock the gallery at the end? - Do you want basic moderation like delete/hide controls, or is download/review enough for this run? - Are the eight map screenshots already prepared in the exact order they should appear?

Hi, I’ve read your charity run app brief carefully, and I’m confident I can build a clean, event-ready solution for iOS and Android within your timeline. The flow is clear: checkpoint-based navigation with Google Maps screenshots, in-app camera capture only, photo confirmation, automatic checkpoint tagging, and a lightweight backend for auth, storage, moderation, and admin review. I specialize in Mobile App Development for cross-platform apps and can deliver this with a simple runner-friendly UX, reliable Mobile App Testing before event day, and a backend such as Firebase or Supabase depending your preferred hosting costs and gallery access needs. I’ll also make sure the admin side lets you review or download images easily, with a practical guide for volunteers. I can start right away and deliver a working build in phases over the next 2-3 weeks, including APK and iOS TestFlight setup. Would you prefer the shared gallery to be public after approval, or admin-reviewed only for smoother event-day moderation? Best regards, KANIKA

For a one-day charity run, the app needs to be fast, simple, and hard to misuse — especially with the no-gallery rule and the requirement that every photo stays tied to the right checkpoint. I’d keep the build intentionally lean: one guided flow through the 8 stops, in-app photo confirmation, cloud upload, and a straightforward organiser view for reviewing or exporting the images. This is the kind of job where clean structure matters more than adding features that can create confusion on event day. I’d use a cross-platform framework with Firebase or Supabase, keep the screens lightweight, and set clear storage limits so you know exactly what to expect before launch. A shared gallery can definitely be discussed, but if cost or speed matters more, the admin-only archive is the smarter first version. - Do you want runners identified by bib number/name so images can be grouped per participant? - Should volunteers be able to help from one device for multiple runners, or is it strictly one login per participant? - Will the event location have reliable mobile data, or should we plan around spotty connectivity?

1) How do you envision handling the real-time synchronization of photos taken at each checkpoint, especially considering the potential for intermittent connectivity during the event? 2) What specific user roles do you foresee for the admin access, and how would you like to manage permissions for viewing or downloading images? 3) Can you clarify your preference for the login method? Would you like to prioritize QR code login for its simplicity, or would email login be acceptable if it offers a better user experience? I can commit to providing feedback and iterations within 12 to 24 hours. I will also provide small incremental updates to maintain momentum as we progress towards the event. As a first deliverable, I can provide a draft schema for the database and user flow within 3 days to make sure we are aligned on the structure before moving forward. I look forward to discussing this project further and getting started. Best, Rajavel

I have experience building cross-platform mobile apps with Flutter/React Native, Firebase/Supabase, authentication, camera integrations, image storage, admin dashboards, and responsive event-focused interfaces. I can build the complete iOS and Android app with your 8 checkpoint screens, in-app camera capture with gallery uploads disabled, automatic checkpoint tagging, photo confirmation, and a lightweight backend for authentication, storage, and moderation. I can also provide either a participant gallery or a simple admin-only collection with image review and bulk download, depending on the most practical hosting cost. I’ll handle deployment, TestFlight/APK builds, backend handover, storage limits, documentation, and event-day readiness. I can start immediately and would be happy to discuss the checkpoint flow and recommend the simplest authentication and storage setup.

Greetings, I can build this. One thing that affects your date. iOS cannot be sideloaded, so 100 runners means external TestFlight, which needs Apple's beta review first. That has to be submitted well before event day. Also, skip the email login. Runner types their name on first launch, app keeps a device id. Nothing to reset on the morning. What is the event date. Looking forward to hearing back from you soon. Thank You!

Hello!! Your charity run app needs a simple event-day flow where runners move through 8 checkpoint screens, capture photos only through the in-app camera, confirm each photo, and have every image automatically linked to the correct checkpoint. * Would you prefer one shared QR code for quick runner access? * Should the gallery be visible to all runners or admin-only? * Do you already have an Apple Developer account for TestFlight? The solution will use Flutter for one clean iOS and Android codebase, with Firebase for authentication, image storage and moderation. The app will include the 8 supplied map screenshots, swipe/Next navigation, camera-only capture, photo confirmation, checkpoint tagging, gallery or admin archive, bulk image download, APK, TestFlight build, backend handover and a volunteer guide.
