Program an application for iPad. I have the interface designed and the workflow plotted out, but I need an experienced programmer to build the app with the latest version of the iPhone/iPad Developer’s Kit. And preferably an app with minimal amounts of bugs. It must work and work smoothly.
Main app functions: simple but smooth drawing capability, page turning with previous page and next page rendered during turn, and a content management, sorting system (titling, search).
Design files will be supplied after bid is accepted.
The stock drawing tools in all of the handwriting applications that we’ve tested (with the exception of Penultimate) have blocky rendering. For instance, when you move your finger around the screen in Adobe’s Ideas app the lines are jagged until you come to a stop. We’d need to avoid this. No lag, no blocky drawing.
*Animated Page turning:
We would like user-created content to render on the previous and next pages on turn: Example: [url removed, login to view] (this was apparently built using OpenGL ES)
-Insert photo from photo library as thumbnail (we will supply a background image for the inserted photos) -- full photo view on click
-forward current page content via email. and option to save to photo library.
-undo, redo, erase, delete all, and color change (three color options)
--bookmarking: ability to add, browse, and edit bookmarks
*Content creation and management:
-ability to title each page (by tapping on menu bar)
-file hierarchy: pop up menu for folder view (with a set icon alongside user-created title): on click, a list of pages created by user…listed in order of creation, but with thumbnail of content alongside the content's title
--option in popup menu to create new folder and title
--search (text entry) also contained in popup menu
--alternate view of file management. a simple, large image-based view of content: folder images and titles, and on click opens thumbnail gallery of user-created content, which can in turn be clicked to access full version content in landscape view.
--smaller menu at top (same menu as in landscape view but only half of the menu included) for adding and editing folders, titles
