Create iOS Widgets

I am a hobby programmer and I already made some iOS Apps for myself in Objective C. Now I want to create widgets to control my home-automation equipment, but I can't figure out how to create them, so I want you to make 2 different Xcode projects and send me the source code files as a starting point for me to learn how widgets work.
Project 1:
Make an App where it's possible to populate a widget in the same section where for example the news widget is placed (when swiping to the left on the home screen).
Project 2:
Make an App where it's possible to populate a widget directly to the Homescreen. This is possible since iOS 17.
Both projects should have a widget with 2 buttons. When a button is pressed, an individual http-get command should be fired.
The projects should be done for iOS 17 and in Objective C (since I don't know Swift) and use Xcode 15 or above.
