We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced mobile app developer to design and build an on-demand laundry and dry cleaning service app for the Qatar region. The successful candidate will be responsible for the full development cycle of the app, from initial concept to launch and ongoing maintenance.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design and develop an intuitive, user-friendly interface for the app. App can be used in iPhone and android system
• Implement features such as scheduling pick-up and delivery, tracking orders, and managing account information
• Integrate with local laundry and dry cleaning providers to ensure timely and efficient service
• Allow customers to track the status of their orders in real-time, so they know when to expect their clothes to be delivered & Ability to track the status of orders in real-time and receive notifications when the order is picked up, being cleaned, and delivered.
• Offer a loyalty program for repeat customers.
• Allow customers to leave reviews and ratings for the service they received.
• Offer a subscription service for regular customers.
• Allow customers to schedule recurring pickups.
• Offer special promotions and discounts for first-time customers
• Allow customers to schedule same-day or next-day pickups and deliveries.
• Provide a customer service chat or phone line for assistance
• Offer different levels of service, such as basic laundry, pressing, and dry cleaning, with different pricing for each.
• Offer a referral program, where customers can refer friends and family to the service and receive a discount on their own orders.
• Use push notifications to send reminders to customers about upcoming pick-up and delivery times.
• Integrate a payment gateway for easy and secure transactions.
• Allow customers to pay for their orders through the app, using a variety of payment methods such as credit card or Apple Pay.
• Test and debug the app to ensure smooth operation and high performance
• Collaborate with the project team to develop and implement new features and updates
• Continuously monitor and optimize the app to ensure maximum user satisfaction
• Provide detailed information about each service, including pricing and estimated turnaround time.
Qualifications:
• Proven experience in mobile app development, with a portfolio of relevant projects
• Strong knowledge of programming languages such as Java, Swift, or Kotlin
• Experience with development frameworks such as React Native or Ionic
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs and integrating with third-party services
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Experience with on-demand services and/or laundry and dry cleaning industry is a plus
• BSc in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related field.
