I have a fully functional web app built with jqtouch that I'd like to convert to a native app with phonegap. I'd do it myself, but I don't have an intel mac to use the sdk. I may just buy an intel mac mini on ebay, but I thought I would check here first to see if anyone was willing to do this for an affordable price. I don't think it would take very long at all.
Hi everyone. Thanks for bidding. Upon closer examination, I'm a little unsure if my app will work as is with phonegap. I'm not an expert, so bear with me as I try to explain.
My app is built in jqtouch, which loads a number of html pages with jqtouch's built-in ajax. No problem. This will work fine in my app. Here's the trick: when jqtouch loads one of those html pages, it accesses the server and grabs information from a php page with jquery. So /abc.html is getting /abc.php. This works perfectly in my web app now.
As I understand, for it to work in phonegap, abc.html will have to fetch http://www.domain.com/abc.php rather than /abc.php. I'm just not sure if it will work with my current configuration. Does anyone have experience with this sort of feature in phonegap?
