Hello, I'm a graphic designer looking for a simple script.
Basically I have 100 folders each containing an image sequence of about 500 small jpeg images ([url removed, login to view], [url removed, login to view] etc). The images are all 8x6 pixels. Occasionally there is an image missing where it has not downloaded properly.
I would like a script or program that can scan through each folder and get the colour of a user defined pixel (eg, pixel 5,3) . I would then like the script to write the RGB value of the pixel in a new line of a text document. I would like one text document for each folder of images.
I would like the text document for each folder to look something like this:
[url removed, login to view]: 45, 230, 86
[url removed, login to view]: 67, 139, 67
The language this is written in is not super important to me, so long as it comes with clear instructions about how to compile and run the code, and clear commenting so I can change it if needs be. Python or Processing would be preferable.
EDIT: I'm afraid the budget is quite low, £20 - £40 max. Thanks for your interest.
EDIT 2: Forgot to mention, this is part of a workflow on a Mac OSX computer, so any solutions must be Mac compatible please.
