I am currently employed as team & project lead for Unity 3D based projects, so I can confidently say that I am more than qualified for this job. On other subjects, I have played a couple of settlers games, including the last android one which quite similar to the 4 as well. I have posted lowest possible price that I am willing to work for because of two reasons: 1. I am new to freelancer and should make a name for myself 2. Hi. I first played Settlers on Amiga and I'm still big fan of the original that's probably why I still mostly play Settlers 2 10th Anniversary these days. I did play 3, 4 and 7, I skipped all RTS versions, because I'm more fan of resource management. You have to be aware of one thing, Blue Byte is a small team of very experience people who gradually improved game over years, so it's quite a large project and it will take quite some time unless you have all the graphics, animations, sounds and music prepared. I can suggest Unity to be used, it's suitable for either 2d, isometric or a 3d game. Since you mentioned improved graphics, do you mean 3d? If you do mean 3d then it will take some 20-30% more time and cost than isometric. In any case it is a huge project, plus, since it will be an online game, a sophisticated information system with an optimized back-end database and scripts is also required, that means you'll need a good server for starters, might need several of them if number of simultaneous players get above 1000. I do happen to be a system engineer, but also a game developer and a hobbyist musician. Check out my profile for some sample games and please contact me for further discussion. It might take a year to make such a game and it will surely have to go beta for first few months after initial release and will probably have to be further developed during extra several months until it reaches maturity and stability.
