Note: "httpful" can't be used because it is incompatible with my server config, and "b-lazy" has some bugs and doesn't have all the functionality needed.
I need a "lazy load" script for JPEGs and animate GIFs. It needs to have the same behaviour as found on Clips4Sale pages that have animated GIFs. Please see this page as an example (warning: NSFW!):

In particular, it needs to behave in a similar way to the page above, with regards to what happens to images when they go in and out of view, and also for images that are partially in view (the behaviour then is slightly different depending whether they are at least 50% in view or less than 50% in view).
I don't need to mimic the "click for preview" stuff seen on that page; we're only concerned with JPEGs and GIFs.
The width and heights of my GIFs and JPEGs will always be known and I can include those in my code for each image.
Some images will be displayed at a different size fromn their physical size; in these cases, the display size will also be known in advance.
The script needs to wok on all popular desktop and mobile platforms.
