I am looking for a horizontal image scroller that uses Jquery.
This will be for 50+ images and I would like for the script to randomly select the images so that they're different each time and in a different order. There will be two sizes, smaller and larger. When the smaller image is mousedover the larger image will appear in sort of a lightbox in a smooth, attractive way. Nothing the user needs to close, something that closes automatically. They need to be able to mouseover all of them in a row and have this open and be a cool effect. It also needs to be able to be linked to a page within the site so when they click the image it will take you there.
These will be small images, about 100x100 px. The main <div> area this is going to occupy will be approx 900x100px. This will scroll left in a marquee like fasion, but I want the whole area to automatically load the images in a fade-in smooth style and then start scrolling, not start off blank and then scroll in from the side. There will be images the entire time.
Let me know if this makes sense and if you have any questions.
This is basically just taking one of the hundreds of scripts out there and modifying it to fit these requirements. Shouldn't be too hard.
We are looking for the smallest/fastest amount of JS/CSS possible to accomplish this. Thank you!
