I have a webpage with a server side script that runs at the bottom of the page.
...some html here...
<div>...some html here...</div>
...some more html here
<% ... [url removed, login to view] ... %>
<% ... long running asp script here ... %>
All of the HTML that is before the asp script is flushed to the browser before the script begins to run.
I need to show a default div that is in the HTML before the script executes and I need to change the div that is displayed after the asp script executes.
For example, the default <div> would show the user that the website is searching, and would show a progress bar.
page load would not be completed yet. it may take the asp script 1-2 minutes to complete.
There are a total of 3 different <div>'s that would be displayed...a default div that is shown first and a "success" or "failure" <div> that would need to be displayed after the server side processing is complete.
The <div>'s would need to appear in the same place and would be of the same size.
I need sample working code.

Why do you need three divs? Only one div will do. You can update it's content whenever required. Actuaally you can't do this using ASP page alone. HTML generated by ASP engine will come to the browser only when the AS Daha Fazla
From what you describe the project sounds like something I can do. Depending on the complexity of the DIV, the difficult part may be keeping it the same size after changing the contents. I will send a sample shortly.
