Need a developer to build a Dashcode Project file for a VERY simple web application.
The top layer is to be a splash screen with our logo and login / password entry boxes. The program should compare the users input against an already existing database to verify that the username/password is valid and that the user's account is enabled. There should also be a link for a user to register.
The user is required to input a unique referral code. On submission the application will verify the registration code against the existing database codes. If the code is invalid the user is to be notified that their code is invalid, and after 5 second delay the program should refer the user to the "About Us" page of our website.
If the referral code is valid the user is required to input their information: First Name, Last Name, E-Mail, Zipcode. The submission will be sent to our existing user management system for registration.
The user is then redirected to the main splash screen that has a toolbar across the top (320x50), a footer on the bottom with our company name (320x12) and the rest of the screen displays our main content.
The content is to be pulled from a mysql database (already existing). Only 4 entries will be displayed at any given time, with the content autoscrolling through to the next slide after pausing for 2.5 seconds. The next slide is inserted at the top of the screen and the bottom slide is scrolled out of view. Every entry is clickable, in which case the screen scrolls to the side to display detailed information on the entry (also pulled from the database).
The dynamic data is pulled from a custom recordset that finds entries only within a specified distance from the user's current location. The maximum allowed distance from the current location is a field provided by our user management system per account. The recordsets are dynamic in that the application will query different zipcodes vs the current user's location.
