I have recently received investment for a web-based venture and am looking to set it up around a Unity 3D Object/Mesh Editor.
Users will be able to visit our web site and use the editor to build their own objects starting from primitives and prefabs:
Start editing by dragging into the workspace either a prefab (mesh) or a primitive from the default library
Editing will be done at object level, basic vertex level and basic face level
Editing by using basic manipulations tools (Move, Rotate, Scale)
Booleans (Intersect, Union, Subtract)
Poly-editing tools (slice, cut, extrude, create poligon, bridge, delete)
An adjustable grid system for all tools to snap to (grid to be dynmic in scale from 1mm to 10cm for example).
Each object will have the ability to have materials attached to it from a per-determined library.
Finally the object will be saved into a library (this will mostly be done by us through web scripting, the Unity App will just need to write to a jQuery DB)
The project will have to be published for Web, Android and App Store. I like the intuitive interface these guys have created for Velux planner ([url removed, login to view]) and would like something similar as ease of us is paramount.
