We are seeking a skilled Full-Stack Developer to build the MVP of an online mentorship platform designed to simplify mentorship sessions with scheduling, progress tracking, note-taking, and a mentor search feature. The MVP will also include profile reviews and comments, making it easy for mentees to provide feedback and find the right mentors. Features within the meeting room: Custom UI aligned with the platform's branding. Note-taking functionality to log meeting discussions and action points. Chat Facility: A real-time chat feature integrated into the platform for seamless mentor-mentee communication. Custom Form Builder: Create forms to collect any type of information (e.g., mentee details, feedback, or test questions). Forms can be linked to specific meetings or shared with mentees. Meeting Scheduling: A calendar-linked feature to schedule meetings. Agendas created by mentors can be shared with mentees for review and approval. Mentor Search: A search feature to help mentees find mentors based on skills, expertise, or availability. Reviews and Comments: Mentees can leave reviews and comments on mentor profiles. Ratings and feedback will help build trust and improve mentor visibility. Progress Tracking: Add manual meeting summaries as agendas. Checkpoints for tracking task completion. Payment Integration: Payment processing for booking sessions or subscriptions. Management System: A centralized dashboard for organizing meetings, forms, notes, chat logs, and reviews. Deployment: Deploy the platform on DigitalOcean or Hostinger for secure and scalable hosting. Backend Development: Implement APIs and backend logic using NestJS. Set up a PostgreSQL database for secure data storage. Develop a dynamic form builder for creating and managing forms. Feature Integration: Integrate Jitsi Meet with note-taking and custom UI features. Build a real-time chat system for communication. Implement payment gateways for session bookings. Enable review and comment functionality on mentor profiles. Deployment: Deploy the MVP on DigitalOcean or Hostinger, ensuring secure and scalable hosting. Testing & Optimization: Rigorously test the platform to ensure reliability, scalability, and security. Project Deliverables: A fully functional MVP deployed on DigitalOcean or Hostinger. Source code, database schema, and all relevant files. Custom Jitsi Meet UI with note-taking functionality. Fully tested frontend and backend with integrated search, reviews, forms, and payment. Documentation for deployment and usage. The project will include OAuth sign-in options like Google or Facebook. The platform will have different permissions for admins, mentors, and mentees. The custom UI will follow detailed mockups. The expected timeline for MVP delivery is 1-2 months. The platform will use Stripe for payment processing. I have read through your requirements, and noted that your delivery timeline is 1 to 2 months. I have made the milestone 2 months to account for worse case scenario. The below is just to clarify what will be added ontop of the requirements you have listed. We will follow the agile methodology, and host it on our Kubernettes cluster to ensure there aren't unnecessary fees from your side during, and also to ensure you see progress as it's being developed. Kubernettes will be utilized to ensure easy scalibilty when demand surges, and ensure costs are optimized when demand is low. Both backend and frontend will be dockerized to make sure that environments are equal between development and production, and to make switching hosting providers easier. Database will be postgresql, perhaps with replication for production to ensure redundancy. Pipelines will also be integrated for smooth deployment, ensuring zero downtime during upgrades, and to ensure there are failsafes. The entire repo on github will be transferred on completion.
