Project Overview Development of a backend-only .NET Core system for an autonomous YouTube analytics backend. The system will include organization-based user authentication, YouTube API integration, and automated scheduled data fetching using a cron job scheduler, with no frontend interface. Scope of Work 1. Authentication & Organization Model o Creation of User Model and Organization Model. o Secure JWT-based authentication for login and API access. o Organization-level grouping and access segregation. o Role-based access for Admin and User levels. 2. YouTube Data API Integration o Integration with YouTube Data API v3 for fetching analytics (views, likes, comments). o Data fetched using client-provided API credentials (API key/token). o Automatic token refresh every 20 minutes. o Client will provide working YouTube credentials to enable live API hits and fetch real-time data during development. 3. Scheduler (Cron Job / Hangfire Setup) o Implementation using Hangfire / [login to view URL] to: ▪ Automatically trigger YouTube API calls every 20 minutes.▪ Fetch and update analytics data in the database. ▪ Maintain logs for all scheduled operations. ▪ Automatically retry failed API requests. o Advanced error tracking and retry mechanism for reliability. o Scalable setup for high-frequency automation. 4. Custom Logic Integration o Implement client-provided logic/formulas to calculate engagement metrics. o Automatically execute logic post every API data update cycle. 5. Backend API Development o Development of RESTful APIs for: ▪ Authentication (Login / Register) ▪ Organization & User Management ▪ Analytics and metrics retrieval ▪ Scheduler logs and system monitoring o Error handling, authentication middleware, and optimization for performance. 6. Testing & Quality Assurance (QA) o Complete unit testing, integration testing, and API validation. o Real-time testing with client credentials to verify API responses. o Postman collection delivery for client testing. o Documentation of test results and system stability. 7. Database Design o Well-structured database schema linking users, organizations, and analytics data. o Optimized indexing for quick analytics queries. o Dedicated tables for scheduler logs, API hits, and historical data. Deliverables • Fully functional ASP.NET Core backend. • Automated scheduler integrated for YouTube data fetching. • API documentation and Postman collection. • Database schema design and testing report.
