One of the downsides to using Virtuemart is its more geared towards products. We use it to sell classes (obviously). One need that is not met is the ability to communicate to our community when a class is "full" by use of some sort of class Status and subsequently disable the link to get to the detail view. The notification needs to be in the category browse view rather than the detailed view. Ideally it would replace the thumbnail image in the browse view with an image that indicated the class was full. To make it more successful and flexible it would be best if we could upload our own images and have the ability to add intermediate statuses (such as "nearly full").
A successful bidder must make this as idiot proof as possible since nontechnical folks will need to be trained to change the statuses
A successful bidder must document in as much detail as possible the changes/edits/customizations they did to perform this (part of our website policy on keeping good records of customization work done).
A successful bidder must be a good communicator and not afraid to make suggestions
A successful bidder must have done proven virtuemart customizations in the past and have good references.
