Hello, I have been working as an English tutor on Preply, helping learners improve their speaking confidence through interactive, conversation-focused lessons. Your goal of helping four beginner-level learners become comfortable with everyday English aligns perfectly with my teaching approach. Good day! Thank you for your proposal. I believe I am the ideal candidate for this project because of two main reasons. Firstly, I have years of experience in tutoring Mathematics. Furthermore, one of my Math students was not fluent in English. The need to then conduct the lessons in his home language then gave me the ability and experience of tutoring someone who was not comfortable with the English. Secondly, I am an English Literature student so I have been exposed to a vast array of dialects of the English language, spanning back to the Victorian era. Furthermore, my literary studies have also challenged me to tap into my creative side, thus enabling me to conduct your sessions in the way that is suitable to each of you. My lessons will be two-fold - the first 30 minutes will comprise of theoretical teaching catered to your needs and ability in the language. The second 30 minutes will be centered around applying the theoretical content taught earlier in the lesson. Furthermore, the theory will progressively get more challenging as each student grows, with the goal being everyone being as fluent as possible in speaking the language. The lesson will then end in homework based on the content covered, to ensure that the work is reinforced. Lastly, the email recap will include a summary of the entire lesson. I can keep the sessions interactive with simple conversations, role-plays, everyday topics, pronunciation correction, and easy explanations wherever needed.
