Here’s what you’ll take full ownership of: • Risk assessment – dig into bank statements, merchant processing data, and credit pulls to assign a clear risk grade and recommended approval amount. • Document verification – confirm ownership, KYC, bank authenticity, voided checks, and all supporting paperwork before a file moves to final review. • Merchant evaluation – interview or email merchants when needed, spot red flags in their business model, and summarise your findings in a concise underwriter’s memo.
