We have a setup consisting of a whmcs hosting solution and Plesk 9.5 based servers. So far we have been using opensrs for registering domains and hosting dns. Unfortunatly it turns out they do not offer hosting of domains not registered with them.
Therefor we wish to have our current setup extended with our own dns servers.
What we need is someone to setup and configure the following and describe how it was done, and how it can be repeated for new servers.
1) Setup two dns servers working as slave servers on vps'es. Linux distribution will be debian or centos.
2) Setup plesk on one of our servers to work as a hidden master dns server, which will automatically copy dns records to the slave servers.
3) Guide us on how to have the proper dns records setup for our domains to have our own nameservers. That is [url removed, login to view], [url removed, login to view] etc.
Its important that its fully automated, so that adding a new domain to Plesk will automatically setup the replication to the slave dns servers, without having to manually adding the domains to the dns slaves.
If you have a suggestion for a dns hosting provider which provides the same options instead of having our own dns servers, then that is fine too.
Please write a private message stating how you plan to solve this, how long time it will take and if you are available on msn while working.
