Block P2P (torrent, etc.) traffic on Linux VPN server

Hi , I am able to provide you with Linux settings that allow you to detect and block ALL p2p traffic on your servers. This is not based on ipp2p or l7-filter! Ipp2p and layer7 does not work for encrypted bittorrent. I can deliver the solution to you next week and explain you the configuration. Some customization is also possible - for example for the logging. This solution is also used by a big WLAN provider in Europe and works very well. Let me know what you think and if you have further questions. Ask the other guys bidding for this project if they are able to filter encrypted P2P. You can test this yourself using utorrent client. Hello, I can help block the default ports for those applications, which should prevent those who aren't technically aware from being able to use torrents. We can also block known torrent trackers which should help as well, and block the standard DHT ports as well. It's going to be very difficult to block this traffic based on traffic analysis because of the encryption, but port blocking should stop a majority of users from being able to torrent.
