Interesting project, I will deploy an Ubuntu instance on AWS, install the latest stable RustDesk hb_relay and hbs_id server components, configure them to communicate over the correct ports, and hand you a fully working self-hosted remote access system — ready for immediate client connections. One thing I will configure upfront — AWS security groups locked to only the required ports (21115–21119 TCP and 21116 UDP) rather than broad access. I will also set up systemd services so both the ID server and relay restart automatically on reboot or crash, ensuring you do not lose connectivity without manual intervention.
