VPN server setup and redirection to Proxy Server

Hello, I am trying this setup: Laptop -> Travel Router (VPN client) -> VPS (VPN Server) -> residential Proxy -> internet. I have already bought everything: -travel router GL iNet Beryl AX -VPS droplet at Digital Ocean -Residential static IP server at IPRoyal The travel router supports both OpenVPN and wireGuard. I was able to set a VPN connection router -> VPS. But could not connect the router directly to the proxy, it is not built in the router. But the router has a OpenWrt, which I tried to ssh and redirect to the proxy, but wasn't able. And I am afraid it is less safe to do Laptop -> Travel Router (VPN client) -> residential Proxy -> Internet. I can give you more details if you want. I also want to watch you implement live (or at least get a demonstration afterwards), so I can learn and implement it myself in the future if I need. I can also explain why such a complicated setup, there is a reason for it. But you are free to disagree, if you think there is a better way to do what I want.
