Request for Proposal
Aaron Allen & Associates, a Global Restaurant Consulting Firm, is seeking a partner to complete an external review, and associated recommendations, related to external branding and corporate identity. We have a target project length of 2–3 weeks and goal completion date of no later than May 30, 2018.
Global in reach, holistic in approach, but locally relevant, Aaron Allen & Associates are the only ones doing what we do. We work alongside some of the world’s most successful foodservice and hospitality senior executives to visualize, plan, and implement innovative ideas for leapfrogging the competition.
Collectively our clients post more than $100 billion in global sales and span more than 100 countries across all six inhabited continents. We have worked with a wide range of clients including high-volume independent operators, multibillion-dollar restaurant chains, hotels, contract foodservice providers, manufacturers, distributors and trade associations, and prestigious private equity firms. We have direct consulting experience in nearly all cuisine types and operating models.
Our company is excited to improve our corporate identity to reflect the quality of our work. We feel there is a disconnect between the external representation of our organization and the desired perception. Our goal is to be recognized as the leading B2B source in the global foodservice industry, and our main/target audience is chain restaurant executives. We are concurrently developing messaging points and know that one component will be visual tools and diagrams that communicate frameworks, methodologies, process, and approach. We plan to supplement work with a back-end developer to animate certain visual assets for web and digital use.
PROJECT SCOPE AND DELIVERABLES
The requested project would include a comprehensive review of brand identity and collaterals, including:
• Logo, and variations of logo usage
• Primary/secondary fonts and usage
• Primary/secondary colors and usage
• Recommendations, including explanation of color theory, for future color usage
• Graphic elements and associated usage
Deliverables requested include:
• Logo (in recommended color variations, plus black and white versions)
• Digital letterhead and stationary system
• Color palette (primary and secondary colors)
• Font guidelines
• Static visuals, compatible for digital animations, that communicate process, approach, frameworks, and methodologies
• Electronic newsletter masthead & footer
We plan to maintain the name of the organization and the essence of the existing logo, but are open to feedback or recommended changes for the logo in particular.
While some components may be more time consuming, we hope to have the preliminary review components completed within a two (2) week timeframe. The timeline for the development and finalization of requested deliverables can be addressed throughout the course of the engagement.
