We are launching a new company focused on wellness products and require an accompanying logo.

It's important that the logo is reflective of the industry, the product range, the target market and the founder. It's also key that the logo can be used in particular ways; each of these factors are outlined in more detail below.
We are part of the wellness movement and believe strongly that investing in one's health manifests positively in both physical appearance and quality of life.
The wellness movement presents in various ways across a number of sectors including physical fitness (yoga, Pilates, Tai Chi), mental health (meditation, hypnosis), nutrition (veganism, vegetarianism, organics) and general health (alternative and herbal medicines).
* Product range
Our first product will be a stainless steel tongue scraper. Other products will follow each focused on the health and well-being of our customers.
Product quality is a key focus of the organisation; our expectation is that customers will enjoy their items for years post-purchase. As an example, we expect our tongue scraper to last for the customer's lifetime.
Given this focus on quality, we are targeting a premium market and our products will be sold at higher price points than more disposable equivalents. Also, assets like packaging and marketing materials will need to reflect the premium nature of the brand.
* Logo utilisation
The logo will be used in expected ways including on packaging, documentation and in various digital formats such as a website and emails.
Also, the logo will be etched into our product range including the tongue scraper which means it must be exceptionally clear when rendered at less than 0.8cm2 in size and it will need to effectively reflect the brand in monochrome.
The founder of Republic of Ru is an North Indian native that came to Australia at an early age yet still actively embraces her Indian roots. Health and wellbeing are a key focus in her life - she is an avid yoga practitioner, vegan and regularly practices meditation. She is a successful professional who has spent much of her working career in the technology product delivery industry.
The founder started Republic of Ru in 2018 and has since worked with industrial designers and manufacturers to bring her first product to life.
* A final note
The name of the company is based on the Sanskrit character, Ru. The founder is keen to incorporate the character in some way into the logo; however, we're mindful that it might not be a great fit and this is only a tentative suggestion.
