I own a small company with which I deliver optimal cost/value WordPress websites to clients. For me, working in this company is both my passion and my hobby. My day job is with IBM, where I'm a project manager and consultant for web related projects, such as eCommerce websites.
For the past few months, I have been too busy building websites and servicing my current websites that I did not get to actively pursuing clients. And still the work kept coming in. Even simple jobs are starting to queue up. So at this point I am looking for a reliable freelancer with good WordPress and CSS knowledge. Somebody that I can trust to do build a WordPress website from scratch, based on my functional description and a theme bought from ThemeForest. I would like this partner to also handle some of the regular maintenance work, i.e. updating WordPress and the themes. For the near future I expect five to ten hours per week. My plans are to have one full time freelancer working on my websites by this time next year.
I try to keep very high standards even though my projects are not expensive. For example I always work with a test version of the website and a live website, keep both on and offsite backups and always try to put custom code somewhere where it's update-proof. Changes are first applied to the test website, then to the live website. I keep accurate administration of which client is on which WP version. I think you get a feel for my way of working...
Next to my WordPress business, I'm involved with some entrepreneurial hot shots. They have new business ideas every week and sooner or later, one is going to pop and need a WordPress website with a lot of functionality. So that's on the horizon.

So, that's a story about me. If you're interested Simon, I'd like you to apply for the job and indicate your hourly rate, your availability and feel free to ask any question you might have.
