Maestro Learning is a small company in Cambridge, Massachusetts. We develop educational software for young children (Grades K-5). We have developed an Internet business that enables parents to purchase downloadable software activities. Our business model is similar to iTunes in that parents download a software application—FlinkPlay—which they use to find, buy, and organize activities. A Free Trial of FlinkPlay is available by clicking the Free Trial Tab at www.flinklearning.com.
We are looking for someone to replace our cross-platform (Mac and Win) C++ code with Qt. We need to replace both the generic FlinkPlay code and (eventually) all forty-five different types of activities (activity templates). The new activity template code must be able to read the existing activity data (we have forty-five activity templates and over 4,000 activities).
We are waiting on a contract (which provides the funding) with one of our publisher customers. Once the contract is approved, we need to make the replacement immediately and quickly, if we are to replace the code at all. Please download at FlinkPlay and preview 10-20 different types of activities and then contact Peter Dublin.
