I need to get some apple scripts and/or automator sollutions ready. Not complicated, I just don't have the time/knowledge.
Basically what i need is an apple script or Automator workflow that I can make a service out of it. It's very simple, shouldn't take you too long if you know your way around. Basically, it's a "hot key" I would create a shortcut or add it to my TouchBar, where by clicking it (while on finder), it would add the date at the end of the filename in YYYYMMDD format, and that, in case it already has that date in the filename, it would replace it with today's date.
As you can see, very simple. I have actually written one to add the date, I just don't know how to make it so that it replaces an existing date when it's already in the title.
