Mac compatibility for software (Electron, Node.js)

This is a confidential company project
Currently the company has developed a windows compatible application using Electron.
The application communicates with devices on the local network of the PC it is installed on. The application also communicates with our server to provide information from the devices to a mysql database.
When compiling the application for a mac edition, the software only runs once before presenting an error each time the application is booted and no longer works.
It is believed that the issue could be protocol related. Perhaps some network rules apply to mac differently then windows.
We are looking for a developer that can fix our problem and create a mac compatible edition of our software. Therefor you will likely require a Mac in order to properly troubleshoot.
