Harvest e-dresses from Google
My company is setting up a new office in Australia to sell an enterprise project management system called PSNext. We need to contact many potential implementation partners in Australia to help us implement PSNext, do technical support on the software, and perhaps sell PSNext. I suggest we use Google to find such partners.
The ideal implementation partner is already involved in implementing project management software for medium to large organisations. Such partners should also have a technical support capability. We also want to contact companies who are involved in project management training and consulting as they will be able to recommend PSNext.
I have already identified about 100 potential partners which are in the attached spreadsheet (which is in Open Office format as I do not like Microsoft or their products). I would like to gather another 500 e-dresses. Thus we want a total of 600 e-dresses of people in companies in Australia that :
* implement project management, or
* consults on project management, or
* does project management training, or
* are able to do technical support combined with implementation skills.
The suggested Google search criteria are as follows:
* Only Australian web sites.
* Exact phrase: project management
* One or more: consultant OR consultants OR training OR implement OR implementation
* Excluding: vacancy employment jobs
Of the 500 names, I will allow 10% error rate of companies that do not fit our desired profile. Do not hesitate to contact me if you are unsure.
I do not want more than 2 e-dresses of people in the same company, unless it is a larger company with offices in various Australian cities, then the maximum is 4 e-dresses per company.
The columns in the spreadsheet that I want populated are:
* Name of company
* Their Web site
* City or cities in Australia
* name of person (if available)
* A short description of what the company does.
* Indicate "Good".
I have marked some companies with "good" indicating that they may be good prospects for contacting to implement or sell PSNext. A "good" prospect is usually a smaller company that is already selling or implementing software with technical support capabilities, and not an institution. If you feel a company is a good prospect, mark with with "Good".
Unfortunately, many sites do not have e-dresses. If you feel they fit our profile, please try to get an e-dress by leaving a message for them to try and get them to contact you, thus obtaining their e-dress. Do not mention my company or PSNext when contacting them. You can also do a Google search on the company to find senior employees and find their e-dresses. if you are still unsuccessful, make a note in the spreadsheet that you have tried to contact them.
If you are the preferred provider, I shall put 20% of the money into escrow and check your first 100 entries. If I am happy with the quality, I will place the remainder of the money into escrow to pay for the remainder 400 names.
