App description and marketing

We designed the app with my friends. Now we want to make it popular. Our goal is 10,000 regular members in New York. But we don’t have enough experience in advertising and need expert opinion.

Main app concept is TO INVITE people. Invite people for different reasons. You have an idea for some fun – no problem use IMPULSIA to invite people to take part in it. You need help or just people for your project: use IMPULSIA . You want new friends, just invite them. We consider there are a lot of reasons and cases you can invite people. New communications and meetings. Utopia? Maybe.

You can use this app not only with your friends but also with random people from your city (invitation can see all people around you by location).

! But actually it is new concept. We have changed it a week ago , before it was the app aimed TO BRING YOUR IDEAS TO LIFE. (You describe your idea you want to realize , and people who want to take part in this realization join you) The main thing was IDEA, now we changed it to INVITE.

What do you think about this concept changes?

Feed contains different video invitations: joint cycling, morning jogging, charity reading in the Central Park, gathering for a pillowfight flashmob and many different ideas for fun with people nearby. No chat, no likes, just invite or join the others.

Application is very simple:

1. Record video invitation about that you are going to do

2. Choose the time and the meeting point (the feature of this app is that you can choose meeting time just in the nearest 24 hours)

3. Other people will see your announcement in app and after they press "JOIN" button you can see who will come to your meeting. I

For the tests we chose New York as the most progressive city. As we think the ideal age of target audience is 18 - 30.

1. We would like you to check our app and its description in the Appstore. We think that the description is not clear enough and interesting for our target audience.

2. Also we need an advice for Facebook and Instagram ads. We made several attempts in Facebook, but didn’t achieve good results.

3. We have a few video clips for advertising through the Facebook, and would like to receive advice whether to use them or not? But we think that description is not good enough which can increase the number of installations after watching video.

4. Maybe it would be better to replace the video advertising with static images? If yes, in this case we will need your help to understand what we must show on this images and which words to use above and under the video in the advertising block in Facebook.

In general, I would like to know with which part you can help us and price for each type of service. Or maybe you have more interesting and effective ideas for advertising our app.

Minimum what we need now:

– To check the description in the Appstore and to make it more understandable for the users, in the current context. Not longer than the current one.

– Your review of our interface images in the Appstore.

– A couple of new Images for promo through the Facebook and Instagram, and texts above the pictures and under, ( if you consider that our video clips are not suitable for the promo company, and it is better to change them to the new images, if not , new exciting words for the promotional video.)
