This based on five players and a dealer? A suited pair is both cards of the same value or suit; ie: 2 Jack of spades or 2 Jack of clubs. note: This has to occur on the first two cards dealt to any player or dealer. Assuming the average number of cards dealt to any player or dealer is 3 (three). There are eight Jacks of spades and eight Jacks of clubs in the 416 card shoe. The dealer cuts 2 decks from the back of the shoe after the cards have been shuffled. The answer expressed as in 1 in ? chance. I have worked in the gaming industry for seven years as a blackjack dealer. I need an answer to the above question to prove my new blackjack side bet to potential buyers.

Did a quick calculation, it comes out to be about 1 in 2.935971 chances i.e. out of the first 12 cards (5 players + 1 dealer)*2 cards with at least 2 of these 12 are either jack of spades or clubs. Relevant Skills and Daha Fazla
