I have an existing advanced mechatronics prototype that was paused during development. I am looking for a senior hands-on engineer to review the current work, complete system integration, troubleshoot remaining issues, and bring the prototype to a stable, test-ready stage. The project combines: • Electromechanical components • High-current power electronics • STM32-based embedded control • Closed-loop/PID control • Multiple sensors • Battery-powered systems • Mechanical structure and custom hardware The main work includes: • Reviewing the existing design and implementation • Integrating electronics, firmware, sensors and mechanical systems • Debugging STM32 firmware and control loops • Tuning PID and system response • Troubleshooting power, thermal, noise and stability issues • Making hardware or mechanical modifications where required • Performing controlled load and functionality testing • Improving reliability and safety protections • Updating relevant technical documentation I am looking for someone who can handle most of the remaining work independently and is comfortable working directly with physical hardware, test equipment, firmware and mechanical assemblies. Strong experience required in mechatronics, power electronics, embedded systems, control systems and hands-on prototype development. Relevant experience with advanced electromechanical systems, motion control, high-power systems, robotics or similar prototype development is highly preferred. Further technical details will be shared privately with suitable candidates.

Hi, I am embedded system engineer with 11 years of experience who used to be a member of robotic team in the university, so i have a few experience in mechatronic. it just that throughout my professional years i am more focus on electronic design and firmware development. I can help modify the mechanical part as long as its not too advance, but i will be able to help a lot in electronic and firmware review and modification. STM32 is one of my main controller either with arduino or stm32cube IDE, or may be KEIL, but i don't have the software license but i have the experience. so lets discuss further detail and see if i am a good fit for this

I understand, we can review the existing mechatronics prototype, identify the remaining integration and stability issues, and work toward a reliable test ready system. We can cover STM32 firmware, sensor integration, PID control, power electronics, battery systems, electrical noise, thermal behaviour, mechanical interfaces, and controlled testing, while documenting the changes and test results throughout the process. 1. What is the current prototype state, and which subsystem is currently preventing further testing? 2. Do you have the existing schematics, PCB files, STM32 firmware, mechanical CAD, and test data available for review? 3. What are the target load, voltage, current, and required control response for the system? We can review the existing design first and then provide a practical integration and debugging plan based on the actual hardware.

You need a senior engineer to integrate an existing mechatronics prototype and get it test-ready. I would start by reviewing your current design and implementation. I will build out the system integration by connecting the electromechanical components, high-current power electronics, and STM32-based embedded control, also integrating the multiple sensors and battery-powered systems into the mechanical structure and custom hardware. Debugging the STM32 firmware and control loops is part of this, as is tuning the PID and system response. I will troubleshoot power, thermal, noise and stability issues. I would use the STM32CubeIDE for firmware development, as it directly supports the microcontrollers and provides the tools needed for debugging and performance analysis. This is better than using a generic IDE because it's purpose-built for the STM32 family, so it simplifies the development process. I am a Preferred Freelancer with a 5.0 rating over 10 reviews, delivered on time and on budget each time. What are the specific voltage and current requirements for the high-current power electronics? I will have the prototype integrated, debugged, and ready for your testing within the first day or two.

The challenge of integrating various systems in your advanced mechatronics prototype requires a meticulous approach, particularly in debugging STM32 firmware and tuning PID control loops for optimal performance. My experience with similar projects uniquely positions me to tackle these complex tasks effectively. I would begin by conducting a comprehensive review of your existing design, identifying any integration gaps between the firmware, electronics, and mechanical systems. This is crucial for addressing potential issues related to thermal stability and noise interference. My hands-on experience with high-current power electronics and embedded control systems ensures I can troubleshoot effectively and implement necessary hardware modifications. As a first milestone, I suggest we focus on stabilizing the firmware and control loops, allowing for quick validation of system performance. What specific integration challenges have you encountered so far? Junaid
