Hi, I ll code the VBA module to export the data and generate the Excel Report. Also you will be able to choose the location of the generated file. But perhaps we have also to make you able to choose the location of the template Excel file which will be always used. Need just explanation bout what are you meaning by MT# ? Hi I'm a freelance Ms Access/VBA developer with over 25 years experience. I have developed just about every type of database imaginable, including writing code that exports to Excel. If you contact me, I can send my CV, a presentation I created for a previous employer and some VBA code that you may find interesting. The code uses a customised created recordset that is exported to Excel. The Access vba creates a graph in Excel using the querydef (Excel charts are much nicer and flexible - plus more professional in appearance). It then takes a snapshot image of the graph and using a linked object in Access displays the Excel chart in an Access image. The whole process was seamless. When the user clicks on the Access image, the graph opens in Excel ready for a non technical Access user to use the data as they please. I hope my skills are of interest.
