I'm looking for a user friendly access database/template with the following abilities:
1. A user opens the system, and can either:
a. Enter a new complaint (categories include internal, customer, supplier, and auditor: checkbox maybe?)
-required entry items would be item code, lot, customer, owner (changeable), date etc.
b. Follow up on the "steps" required of a previously complaint and input information.
-after initial complaint entry, fill out "progress" in solving issue
2. Complaint entry will follow a specific progression (8D, see attached form), and have a specific timeline/deadlines based on date of complaint entry.
3. Upon entry, a master list of individuals should be notified of entry of a complaint.
4. Assigned "owner" should receive email reminder of "action" due periodically based on above mentioned timeline.
5. Upon resolution, the complaint is "closed" and is visible in a report with other closed complaints based on internal, customer, supplier, and auditor category (reports should be separate)
6. An additional, perk would be the ability to auto-generate a filled in 8D form (attached) based on answers input into "steps" referenced in 1b.
