I have a Dell Precision 490. I want to use it as a database for my files so that we can share important documents or view them online perhaps. We would primarily need it to be able to get connected via internet and store the data on the server, retrieve from it, read the contents in the directory for selective and efficient procurement. Hello, This can be done using some free and windows integrated FTP solutions or SharePoint which is a licensed software. Using sharepoint has it's advantages like the ability to access files through web browser and being able to use versioning system to save different versions of a file. FTP can also be access through web browser but has limited functionality. Please let me know if we can discuss this further. Thank you for going through my bid. Regards, Sam
