I’m rolling out a utility-type mobile app and need to be absolutely certain it behaves correctly on a very wide range of devices. If you already operate a phone farm—dozens or even hundreds of real phones and tablets—this job is for you. Scope • Install the latest build I supply (APK for Android, TestFlight link or ad-hoc IPA for iOS). • Run the app on as many unique devices as you can across different OS versions, screen sizes, chipsets, carriers, and regional settings. • Focus on pure compatibility: launch, login, core navigation, feature access, background/foreground transitions, and graceful handling of no-connectivity or low-battery events. Performance tuning and UX feedback are out of scope; I only need to know “works / doesn’t work” and any crash or display issue you spot. Deliverables 1. A spreadsheet listing each device (make, model, OS version, carrier, locale) with a simple pass/fail result and short notes for any anomaly. 2. Crash logs or screenshots for every failure. 3. A concise summary highlighting patterns—e.g., “fails on Android 9 Samsung devices” or “iOS 14.x shows layout shift.” Acceptance Criteria • Minimum 50 unique Android devices and 30 unique iOS devices covered. • All failures reproducible or clearly documented. • Report returned within 5 days of receiving the build. If your farm meets those numbers and you can turn around results quickly, let’s get started.

Hi, I understand this is a pure device-compatibility testing project, with the main requirement being reproducible pass/fail results across different Android and iOS devices—not UX or performance feedback. I have experience with manual testing, test-case execution, bug reporting, regression testing and documenting issues clearly. I can follow your exact compatibility checklist covering: • Installation and app launch • Login and core navigation • Feature access across OS/device configurations • Background/foreground transitions • No-connectivity and low-battery scenarios • Crash, display and device-specific failures • Reproduction and evidence collection I can maintain a structured spreadsheet with device model, OS version, carrier/locale, test result and notes, along with screenshots/crash evidence for failures. I’ll also provide a concise summary of compatibility patterns found. One important point: your acceptance criteria require 50 unique Android and 30 unique iOS devices. I would like to confirm the available device coverage before committing to those exact numbers rather than overpromise. I can start immediately and follow the 5-day reporting timeline once the build and required device access are available. Best regards, Anas

Hello, You need more than basic device testing here you need confidence that the same build behaves consistently across 50+ Android and 30+ iOS devices, including older OS versions, different screen sizes, carriers, and connectivity conditions. I can handle this as a compatibility-focused test pass, covering launch, login, navigation, feature access, background/foreground transitions, offline behavior, and low-battery scenarios, while documenting every failure clearly. For each device, I’ll provide • Make/model, OS version, carrier, and locale • Pass/fail status with concise anomaly notes • Screenshots and crash logs for failures • A final summary identifying device/OS-specific failure patterns I’ll keep the testing focused on your acceptance criteria rather than spending time on UX or performance feedback. I can also prioritize edge cases such as older Android/iOS versions and device-specific layout or lifecycle issues. Before starting, I’d like to confirm the exact device coverage available for your required 50 Android + 30 iOS minimum. If the coverage matches, send over the build and I can begin the compatibility pass.

A compatibility run is only worth what its bug reports are worth. Twenty devices tested and a message saying it crashed on some Samsungs tells you nothing you can act on. So the deliverable from the device lab on my team is built around reproducibility. Every issue comes with the exact device model, OS version, build number, locale, the steps that produced it, a screen recording, and the logcat or console output around the failure. That is the difference between a bug your developer fixes this afternoon and one that sits in a backlog labelled cannot reproduce. On coverage, worth being blunt about where the value is. Android fragmentation is the real risk - manufacturer skins, battery managers killing background processes, old WebViews, odd aspect ratios and cutouts, OEM builds handling permissions their own way. iOS is far more uniform, so a handful of devices across two or three OS versions covers most of it. A run weighted heavily toward Android returns more findings per hour, and I would allocate it that way rather than evenly. Coverage as you scoped it: install from APK and TestFlight or ad-hoc IPA, launch, login, core navigation, feature access, background and foreground transitions, and behaviour with no connectivity — which on real devices in real conditions is where utility apps usually break. Send the build and a one-page note on the critical user paths, and you will get a device matrix back before testing starts so you can see exactly what is being covered.
