I would like an android app to force the device to only use and connect at the wifi-G standard when the router is broadcasting two or more standards.
My wifi router is set to broadcast at both wifi-g and wifi-n standard.
I would like a simple app that would force the Android unit to connect at wifi-g when both standards are available.
I figured this would be a setting hidden somewhere withing android but I haven't found it.
As to why I need it, my Archos Android tablet connects at wifi-n but can't send and receive data at that setting. When I bump the router down to wifi-n, it works perfectly, but my other devices are forced to connect at wifi-g also, and I can't take advantage of the other wifi speeds.
Simple? You tell me. Thanks.
