I am an app developer with currently three apps, Jumpy Jester - IOS, Jumpy Jester - Android and Space Eon 3D - Android. As you can see from Jumpy Jester (IOS) it works on both iOS 7 devices and iOS 8 devices, and works on all screen resolution. Because iOS 7 and iOS 8 display screens differently the app will need to query if the user is using iOS 7 or iOS 8 and execute different code accordingly.
