myMerch is an app that specialises in the expanding sales of merchandise. It gives consumers the opportunity when at a gig to pre-order their merchandise either before or during the concert that they can collect when the app triggers that their order is ready. It will appeal to artists holding RADAR technology that when a CD is sold at a concert it will process in real time and collate in the official charts. myMerch will also work with labels to send real time data and analytics on merchandise sales using Nielsen Soundscan directly after a gig, to understand what is selling well, what isn’t and why it isn’t. The myMerch app will monetise this by selling the merchandise sales to the labels.
