Personal Distress Alert (iphone app)

What do I want the app to do?

By tracing a simple pattern on the screen when the app is open, a pre-determined emergency distress text message of the user's choice will be broadcast to all of the user's designated contacts (from their contact list/phone book), along with a link to their location (making use of their Location-bases services/GPS). If an emergency arises, people (and potentially lots of them) will know the person's whereabouts, and that they are in a distress situation.
