App for tracking short movements

I need an Android App that tracks user's short movements.
I am talking about movements done in few meters, for example inside a room or at home. I don't think that GPS is enough accurate for this order of magnitude, but it is up to you to use the tech that best fits these requisites.
Consider that the track has to be accurate also if the user keeps the phone in my pocket. The user has to press a button when the tracking has to start or end. Then, the track has to be shown on the screen.
The user has to be able to upload the map (as image format) where he is moving. The track has to be shown on the map. The app has to know the starting point and the orientation of the user. This has to be done with the less possible interaction of the user. What I thought is that the app could ask to walk on a dummy route so to get good starting data, but other ideas are welcome.
The user has to be able to download the map+track as image format.
