We are ausbycarrentals.com. We are a car rental company that offers VIP Service to several Airports. We currently only uses our Samsung tablets for ID and Credit Card Picture taking for onsite VIP delivery of our rental vehicles and would like to get more out of our tablets and our online software offered by carrentalsolutions.com. From start to finish we track the customers flight using an app called flight track and when the customer is in route we text them a "Welcome message" through google voice that they will receive when they power their phone on when they land. In the message they are asked to reply with how many people are in there party so we can determine if we will have enough room to pick them up in their rental vehicle or if we will need to pick them up in a shuttle or even possibly deliver the vehicle to them. They are also asked after that question if they have any bags to collect from baggage claim so we can determine how quick they will be at the pickup spot. If they have bags to collect we ask them to let us know as soon as the carousel starts turning to also determine how soon they will be at the pickup spot. Before the customer lands we prep the car and make sure it is clean. After that we take pictures of the fuel gauge and odometer as well as take pictures of the car in order to have a visual record of the vehicle just in case any new damage occurs. Once all the paperwork is preprinted and we have made contact with the customer we head to pick up the customer based off their flight information at the pickup spot. As we approach the customer we send them updates to let them know how close we are to being at the pickup location based off of their flight information. Once we arrive we take them back to our location and when we stop we have them sign the necessary paper work which is 3 sheets of paper. We have them sign a contract, a receipt and a Collision damage waiver. Our 3rd party web based software does not allow us to send a final invoice to the customer at the end of the rental although we can print it in pdf format and email it to them, it doesn’t allow us to enter in damages found after the contract is closed, it doesn’t allow us to text the client without using google voice, doesn’t allow us to store pictures of any kind. It does not keep track of any communications with the customer at all. To start off with we are really needing a mobile/online platform to be able to have customers sign their contracts, include pictures based off the rental contract and be able to email them a copy of any signed or unsigned document or pictures... This will get us started for now and after that we will create a monthly budget for upgrades as well.
