Description
I am looking to make a social wish list application that will connect to social networks such as Facebook, Twitter and Google Plus. The application will consist multiple screens such as:
• Login Screen
• Main screen with buttons for
o Profile
o Calendar
o Notifications
o My Friends
o Gift Ideas
o Shopping List
o My Wish List
o And Add Item
Each of these buttons will have individual screen with its corresponding information.
Functionality
The shopping list is made up of 2 parts. A buy list and a watch list.
Buy
• When a user selects to ‘buy’ an item from a friend’s gift box it automatically is listed in their buy list.
• The list displays with the person’s name / picture, item to buy & price
• Selecting each item on the list then expands to show date of event and an option to select either ‘bought’ or ‘’return’.
• The list also adds up a full spending total at the bottom.
• The user then buys each item as and when they can – either online or in person.
• Once bought, they select ‘bought’ and it disappears from their shopping list.
• Alternatively, if they no longer want to buy it, they can select ‘return to gift box’ and it will appear back in the other person’s gift box as available to buy. (other users who are watching this item will get a notification to say it is available to buy)
• If an item is in the buy list for longer than 30 days, the user gets a notification to remind them to either buy, remove if bought or put it back in the gift box.
• If an item is in the buy list and the date of the event is 3 days away, the user gets a notification to remind them to either buy, remove if bought or return to the gift box.
WATCH
• When a user selects to ‘watch’ an item from a friend’s gift box it automatically is listed in their watch list with 2 options:
• Buy this item
• Un-watch this item
Other
• An option to download the shopping list to iBook’s or other alternative (to access without data)
• Notification on shopping list in app detailing how many gifts are in the ‘buy’ list
