Write an IPhone Application to Listen for a Song and Display the Relative Time in Song Using FFT

I would like to get a sample iOS Objective-C application written that can listen with the microphone, detect if a particular song is playing, and if so display the current time within that song. Once the song is over it should return to a listening state.
An ideal application would allow me to choose a song to be compared, out of the devices library or through an external source. Am intestested to see if the Apple Accelerate Framework is capable of doing this. I looks like it, but the documentation is a little muddy for me.
