Video Editor for YouTube Travel Channel

I’m currently looking for a passionate and creative video editor to work with my brand, “Explore with Johnpaul” on YouTube. I create travel and documentary-style content focused on culture, tribes, lifestyle, and unique experiences across Africa, so I need someone who genuinely enjoys watching and editing travel/documentary videos, not just someone cutting clips together. What I’m Looking For: • Strong storytelling and cinematic editing skills • Experience editing travel/documentary content for YouTube • Creative use of B-rolls, sound design, pacing, and emotions • Motion graphics and clean transitions • Background music selection that matches the story and mood • Ability to keep audience retention high and make videos engaging from start to finish • Someone who understands YouTube pacing, hooks, and viral storytelling • Open to feedback and able to tailor edits to my style and preference • Good communication and consistency Skills Required: • Motion Graphics • B-Roll Integration • Sound Design • Color Grading • Background Work/Cleanup • Cinematic Storytelling • YouTube Documentary Editing Turnaround Time: 3–10 days per video depending on project length. Location Preference: Abuja-based preferred, but remote editors are also welcome if the work quality is excellent.
